How do I know that The Lead Market (TLM) generates only qualified leads?

Unlike other lead generation agencies, we do not cold call prospects. Instead, we rely on email marketing and creating rich text campaigns to convey our client’s message to the prospect. According to our data over the last five years, we have generated more than 27,500 HOT leads, and many of our clients have converted those leads into business deals. Our leads-to-business percentage is around 81%, which itself illustrates that the leads we generate are qualified.

Is the monthly retainer fee still charged even if there are no leads for the month?

Yes. The monthly retainer fee helps cover the ongoing costs of data mining, campaigning, exclusions, lead identification and reporting. In addition, we incur human resources expenses for the one dedicated resource and four shared resources that handle your account.

Why can’t you guarantee lead numbers per month?

We consider a lead HOT when the prospect would like to meet with the client over a scheduled call. We conduct multi-touchpoint campaigns, and prospects can sometimes read around three to four messages (with a five-day gap between messages) before taking any action. As a result, we cannot guarantee any number of leads. Some months, we can generate 17 HOT leads (our record) for a client, but, in other months, we may not have a single lead for the same client. Our clients appreciate the disciplined efforts we invest in pursuing leads and continue to choose us month after month. Our first client still vouches for us for lead generation and appointment setting.

Are the leads qualified according to the BANT framework?

No. Our outbound approach gives us the ability to read the responses that come in after the campaign deploys. We then hand over leads either by introduction or by scheduling a call on your calendar. We expect clients to take the discussion from there and also handle any follow-ups. If you would also like us to follow up with leads after the introductory call, please reach out to support. We are happy to add a resource for follow-ups at an additional cost.

If I decide to sign up, then do I need to give any set up fees?

There's no set up fee structure. Once we gather the requirements, we will set up your account in our system and then we will sign you up with our automated payment system.

What is the procedure for payments? Is there any automatic payment portal?

We prefer Automatic Payments. This is the only payment system we have active in our systems. Once you sign up with our system, we will run your card automatically.

Is there any portal to track the lead generation activities?

Yes. We give you the portal after your campaign kicks off. You can track all the metrics and leads in that portal. Even this keeps you updated with campaign stats.

Can I opt out of paying for unqualified leads during my monthly billing?

Of course. If you’ve spoke with leads and have gathered that they are not interested in moving forward with you, then yes, we can discuss possible billing adjustments during invoicing. In the majority of cases, you will not have to pay for those leads.

Do I have to give you a list of accounts that I want to target?

It depends. During the onboarding call, we discuss your goals and target audience. Our contact discovery executive will then work on those requirements and compile the data. Some of our clients choose to share a target list of accounts in an effort to speed up the process. Without a target list, our contact discovery executive will be working nine hours a day to get your prospecting list ready.

Do you work on a performance-based or commission-based program?

We do not offer performance or commission-based incentives. We have designed our program such that resources are allocated to support accounts from contact discovery through lead identification. The monthly retainer covers these resources, and the appointment charges are additional.

Why should I choose TLM for my lead generation program?

We follow consistently proven practices to generate leads. Based on our data over the past five years and our experience with more than 120 clients, you can expect a quicker ROI with TLM. As all sales professionals know, generating leads is not an easy job. While we cannot guarantee any number of leads, we always strive to generate quality, qualified leads. If we generate just two leads in a given month, it is likely that at least one of those will be promising in your sales pipeline.

Is there any referral program that we can use to refer other clients?

We do not currently offer a formal referral program, but you are welcome to contact support for further details. Many of our clients have referred us to other clients because they realize the value of our service.

Is this program completely offshore? do you have any other locations?

We are based in Nagpur, India. Account owners do travel to client locations if it is required.
